Pockets in My Dress

With week 2 of make-up school under my belt, my brain is buzzing with new information and I'm exhausted yet at the same time, very relaxed!  We all got a mini facial yesterday, which we gave each other and now my skin feels amazing!  I have to say, I love my course/school.  The teachers are so nice and generous, giving us a lot more information than usual.  I hope to share whatever I learn with you guys!

Here's what I wore yesterday...and again the same rule applies: we must wear black.  This dress was actually a birthday present from my mom (last year) and she bought it when she was in Baltimore visiting family.  I love it but don't get to wear it that often!  What I especially love about the dress is that it has pockets...skirts and dresses with pockets are just so cute.  It was raining but muggy and hot today especially in our classrooms so no sleeves was a must!  If you want to make this look more office-appropriate just add black opaque tights.

Grey and black dress - Anthropologie (similar-ish style with different colours here)
Black flats - ASOS
Black patent skinny belt - ASOS
Gold earrings - Accessorize (similar style by ASOS here)
Gold bracelet - Stolen from my mom (similar style from Miss Selfridge worn in a set here)
Black cardigan - Zara (similar style by Victoria's Secret here)
Beige bag - Chloe Paddington (buy it in brown here)

Let me know what you think!

Stay Stylish!
xoxo

This makes for the perfect dress for you and make-up school too and I'm glad things are going well, you're learning a lot and gaining some new tricks!

Loving all the ASOS things and Anthropologie is one of my sister's and mother's favorite stores!

    Have a Marvelous Monday ahead!

  3. Nice dress! Anna, I'm just curious and I ask you, if you don't mind, why do you have to wear only black clothes? It is a valid reason or they just said that and you (the students) accepted it?

  4. When I was in beauty school we had to wear a black tunic and black trousers, definitely no grey allowed haha!
