October Favourites

It's time for a monthly favourites post!  Here were my favourites for the month of October.

1. FYF Floral blush in the shade Autumn.  I wore this almost every day since I got it, the dark peach shade was perfect for my skin tone and really warms up my cheeks.  I absolutely love the beautiful packaging.  You can purchase this blush from the FYF website here.

2. The Body Shop Love Gloss in #19.  The perfect "Barbie pink"! I've been wearing this gloss to death in my last few videos and have been getting so many compliments on it.  I'm not usually a lipgloss girl but this was too pretty to ignore.  I love the applicator and it has just the right amount of pink and sparkles to it :)

3. L'Oreal Studio Out of Bed Fibre Putty.  Now that my hair is shorter again, I've rekindled my love for this product.  I wash my hair before bed, comb it and apply leave in conditioner, then let it air dry a little and sleep on it.  The next morning I apply some of this to the ends and scrunch it, which basically just defines the curls.  (My hair is naturally wavy.)  It's a quick and easy solution to a no-fuss, no-heat hair style!

4. Black statement earrings from Talullah Tu.  I wore these as much as I could last month.  They completely transform the simplest of outfits from plain to glamorous in seconds!

5. Faux fur leopard print gilet from CC.  I absolutely love this cosy yet stylish gilet for the colder months.  I can wear it inside and keep warm, or wear it outside without a coat!  See pictures of me wearing it here.

6. Black leather tassel bag from ASOS.  This is my favourite bag to wear right now, as it goes with almost every outfit, it's great quality as it's real leather but it wasn't too expensive either!  I also love how you can wear it either across the body (long strap) or on your arm (short handles).  Buy it from the ASOS website, here.

7. Candy corn scented candle from TK Maxx.  This was an amazing find...even though Halloween is now over, I couldn't resist adding this to my favourites list!  I'm still burning this because it's just too yummy to resist.  My whole house smells like I'm baking something sweet and it reminds me of my favourite holiday :)

8. Barry's Organic Camomile Tea.  My fiance and I have started a new tradition!  Jonathan used to never drink herbal tea, but I got him into camomile in the evenings before bed.  Now he makes us both a pot of it every night and we snuggle up in bed and watch a movie or TV show...it's the perfect way to unwind and relax!

And how can I not end this post with a picture of sweet Albi!  I love him so much!  Isn't he cute?!  He needs a haircut though...hahaha!

So tell me, what were your October favourites?  Have you tried any of the things I mentioned?  If so what are your thoughts?

Stay Stylish!
xoxo

I loooooove L'oreal "Out of bed" but it's so hard to find it in Romania. Mine is almost gone and I think I'll go crazy. :))

That blush is beautiful and it suits you very well!

  2. Hi Anna, great Blog btw. Quick question with regards to the hair putty, just wondering how do you prevent the hair putting looking like its wet when its dry. You know those products that give you a horrible wet look all day. Or does this product do this? Sorry if I sound confusing:-(

  3. Heey, I just wanted to say I looove your blog and youtube videos! I've been following you for a year now and you are without a doubt my favourite guru. I live in Cork too so I love when you do hauls & I have the exact same hair type as you (except I'm a brunette) so it's really handy when you do hair tutorials. Also, although this kinda goes without saying, you have fantastic style :) I recently started my own beauty channel on youtube (jenmurphyxx8) but I only have like 14 videos on it. Anyways I just wanted to say thanks for always putting up such great videos- you seem like a genuinely lovely person x

  4. That blush sounds like something nice to try, as does the candle. I just did my October favorites blog earlier today. I like how you did the one picture and numbered it, may need to steal that idea in the future! :)

  7. Hi Anna,
I know this is completly off topic and very sorry about that and I was going to post this on your facebook however was scared that someone I know would see, very sily of me but you know!!
I was wondering if you could help we with what body shape I am? Im so confused!
    I am: bust 37", waist 31" and hips 38".
I thought initially maybe pear yet im quite broad shouldered, so I then thought maybe the difference between my hips and bust is small enough for me to be an hourglass, but my waist isnt really defined? Please help!
Love the vlogs and thestylediet, I am a little bit addicted!

  14. My October favorite has to be Baby, baby sheer pink lipstick by Clinique. It's called a lipstick but it's actually super moisturizing and like a really unsticky gloss effect.

  17. Hi guys! Thank you so much for all the lovely comments...sorry I've been so bad at answering them lately :(

@Anonymous#1 I know exactly what you mean! I hate that too...hair should be soft to touch! If you use just a little amount of the product, and rub it together in your palms, then apply it to the ends of your hair, it should dry in naturally and not give you the wet look at all. If you use too much though, it will look wet. You just need to try it a few times and use it sparingly to determine how much is too much and how much is just right!

@Elsie There's no problem with asking me questions here, I'm always happy to answer them! It's really difficult to tell without actually seeing you in person but based on your measurements and from what you've said I would guess you're a pear shape. Hope that helps!

@Rebecca I am definitely going to have to check that out! I've been loving your lipcolour lately!!

@The Fashion Moodboard Thank you so much, I will check it out right away :)
