Back to School Fashion 2011

Yesterday I filmed my Back to School Fashion video for 2011!  Some of you may remember last year's post...well this time I decided to go a little younger with my styles just to make things fair!  Here are the outfits I put together:

What I'm Wearing:
Blue and white striped shorts from Zara about 5 years ago (when I was still in school!)
Rugby jersey from Ralph Lauren Rugby line, about 4 years ago
Boat shoes from New Look, bought recently on sale

A cute pair of shorts are the best way to show off your summer tan ;)  Team them with a rugby jersey and boat shoes for a preppy feel that's appropriate for school!

What I'm Wearing:
1969 Always Skinny Jeans from GAP
Boat Shoes from New Look (same as last outfit)
Vintage tee, about 10 years old from I can't even remember where!

Jeans are one of the easiest and simplest choices for school.  Pair them up with comfortable flats and a vintage tee for an effortless casual look!

What I'm Wearing:
Brown and pink tweed skirt from Esprit about 4 years ago
Pink t-shirt from Zara (last year)
Pointy toe ballet flats from ASOS (buy them here!)

Show off your girly side with a cute skirt, pink t-shirt and matching ballet flats!  Pairing an old-school tweed skirt with a more modern t-shirt is a cool way of meshing old and new together!

What I'm Wearing:
Olive/khaki green skirt from Zara (bought last year)
Black t-shirt from Mexx
Leopard print flats from Faith (about 3 years ago)

For a slightly more "grown up" look, tuck a plain t-shirt into an a-line skirt with a thick band which will make your waist look smaller!  Add leopard print flats for an edgy vibe.

Keep jewellery simple and not too chunky, as this can be distracting and noisy!  Wear something comfortable on your feet so that they don't get sore throughout the day.  Make sure you're not wearing anything too restrictive or tight especially since you're going to be sitting down a lot!  I hope these tips will help those of you who are going back to school this autumn :)

Stay Stylish!
xoxo
