Week 40 Bump Update!

Woops!  Sorry about the bra on display!
Jofus came and slapped this on my belly this morning!!

How far along?  40 weeks!  It's Emilia's due date today!!

Total weight gain/measurements: 27lbs!  Ugh...gained 3lbs this week, my weight is like a yo-yo!  One week I lose, next week I gain 2-3lbs it's so weird!  However I did eat a lot of cake over the weekend, maybe that has something to do with it ;) Ha ha ha!

Maternity clothes: Nothing new as I think at this time it would be silly BUT I will say that I am getting fed up with wearing the same three outfits over and over again...argh!!

Stretch marks: Just the few around my belly-button!  Using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks and haven't gotten anymore as of yet!

Sleep: Good.  I probably should be getting a bit more each night though...just in case ;)  I don't want to be tired going into labour!

Best moment this week: Celebrating our one year anniversary!

Miss anything? All of my pre-pregnancy clothes! :(  There are so many outfits I haven't seen in months...sigh!

Movement: Yup!  Lots and lots!

Food cravings: Pretzels!!  Any kind of pretzel will do, thanks :)

Anything making you queasy or sick? No but I did feel awfully nauseous last night for some reason...it was really weird.  I had just eaten some cake with whipped cream for dessert so maybe that's why??  I really don't know.

Gender:  Girl!

Labour signs: Honestly...not really :(  I didn't get any Braxton Hicks this week and I haven't lost the mucus plug yet...I don't know if I'm dilated or anything yet because my internal examination is tomorrow (not looking forward to that but I've heard it can sometimes speed things up a bit so here's hoping!).

Symptoms: Lightening crotch...sometimes I feel like she's going to drop out of me, lol!
Lots of pressure
Heartburn
Shortness of breath
It takes me about 15 minutes to change positions from lying down to sitting up...I have to roll around like a fat little seal it's actually probably pretty entertaining to watch!!
Nesting (in a big way!)
Feeling tired mixed with having short bursts of energy

Belly button in or out? It's popped out a few days ago!  It's probably now as much of an outie as it'll ever be...ha ha ha!

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy...but anxious for her to get here!!

Looking forward to: Meeting Emilia.  Come on already!

Stay Stylish!

  2. Hey Anna, love watching your videos every night. You and Jonathon are going to be FANTASTIC parents. Can't wait for EMELIA. Xxxxx, by the way I just started secondary school and I was wondering if you could do a video on about school or how to get homework done faster or making new friends, that would be sooo helpful. Don't do this while your pregnant since its soo close to your due date. Love Amy Dublin xxxx
