What I Ate Wednesday!


Breakfast
Alpen Raspberry, Apple & Raisin porridge with almond milk, 1/2 banana and cinnamon, black coffee, water and my yummy Red Velvet Yankee Candle!  (I didn't eat the candle...ha ha ha!) 


Lunch
Rotisserie chicken and a big salad of iceberg lettuce, sweetcorn, beetroot, avocado & tomatoes!  My mother-in-law and aunt-in-law brought lunch when they came to visit us today and this is what we had :)


Dessert 
We celebrated three birthdays in one go (my mother & aunt-in-law's plus Jonathan's which is coming up in February) so they each blew out a candle on this yummy Mississippi Mudpie cake.  I had a slice which I forgot to take a picture of...here were the left-overs!


Dinner
Our guests left quite late so we weren't very hungry for dinner until about 8:30-9pm!  Jonathan made sweet and sour chicken with brown rice, it was delicious!

  1. Hi Anna, love the WIAW posts and vlogs I am inspired by this! I am also bfeeding my daughter who is 3 and a half months but I find myself eating all around me including lots of junk food. Wish I could curb this...just feel hungry all the time. Will try and give this a go. Porridge in the morning might fill me up longer...

  2. Yum! I'm also breastfeeding and find your selections inspiring! I ate Cheerios with light soy milk for breakfast. Coffee and a "toad in the whole" later. An apple, almonds, dried blueberries, 2 bananas, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a cheese hot dog on a salad, whole grain chocolate chip cookies(homemade), homemade carrot ginger soup with a french roll, and salad. I also had a small bowl of popcorn and m&ms because it's our family "special movie night". We watched Nanny MacFee... I wish I ate as healthy as you... But when I start with oatmeal like you, I tend to have more control later in the day. Thanks for sharing!
