Beauty Tuesday: Little Green Box!

I was recently treated to this little green gem - an all-natural and organic beauty box from Souk Souk. It works as a monthly subscription service, where you receive 5 little green beauty products & a magazine for £10 + p&p each month. By no means am I all-natural OR organic when it comes to beauty products but I am very open-minded when it comes down to things like this and I'm willing to give anything a try! I also really respect those who stick to the all-natural way of life. I wish I were that disciplined! Here's what was in the January box:

Green People Gentle Cleanser

This stuff smells really fresh & clean. It's 91% organic and suitable for all skin types.

Mungo Murphy's Nourishing Seaweed Mask

This is like nothing I've ever tried before! It comes in a green, smelly powder form and although it does stink a little I'm weirdly intrigued to try it on my face!

Bentley Organic Shampoo & Conditioner

I'm a bit skeptical about these because I'm normally of the opinion that all-natural shampoos & conditioners don't work that well but I'm willing to give these a go. They have a lovely citrus smell and are perfect for travel as they're just the right size, so I might pop them in my suitcase for an upcoming trip next week ;)

Afyna Relaxing Body Lotion

Last but not least is this body lotion which seems nice & smells pleasant but what I like most of all is the packaging as I think it resembles an old-fashioned milk bottle!

That's everything that I got this month! I do think this is a fabulous idea for people who are interested in going green with their beauty products and would like to discover new brands. I also love how the box & packaging is made from recycled materials...I feel like a lot of thought went into all the details of this beauty box. I'm keen to be introduced to more all-natural/organic products and am interested in seeing if they make a difference!

Let me know what you think! Are you interested in going green with your beauty regime? If you'd like to sign up to Souk Souk, you can do so here!

*Disclaimer: Not a sponsored post. I was not paid for my review, nor am I affiliated in anyway with the brand. I was gifted this box however am under no obligation to mention it...this is just something I genuinely find interesting and wanted to share :)

  3. Anna this IS interesting! I'm not 100% natural when it comes to beauty products but am trying to slowly work up to it. Can you post a follow-up review once you've tried the products, especially the Seaweed Face Mask?! I've heard it's an incredible treatment but would value your thoughts on how it works! Keep blogging! They're the highlight of my days! XOXO

  4. Hi Anna! I'm interested in a PART 2 where you update us on your thoughts on all these products... think you could? Over the past year, I have transitioned into more natural products for my hair, skin, body and even makeup. It's not 100%, but it's getting close. You mentioned having no luck with natural shampoos--check out Desert Essence. I'm not sure if they ship to the UK from their official site but they are on Amazon. I love their grape shampoo and their body lotions. If you are interested in moving into more natural products, I highly suggest starting at a category at a time... such as body care or skin care. Please let me know what you think of everything!

  6. Wow this sounds awesome! I would love to try this! I've tried something similar that we have in Canada and I've shown in on my blog but I haven't seen an organic one yet! Will have to keep my eyes open :)

  7. I haven't heard of these brands before, but am curious to try them out. I know you said you are not a big fan of natural shampoo and conditioner, I used to feel the same. But I find it great for my curly hair texture. It doesn't dry my hair or weight it down. Please give a review when you use them! :)

  14. I think organic products are great for kids so maybe Emilia or Eduardo would benefit from using a few of these products too. I was wondering, what's the magazine like? Is it all organic beauty or does it have organic fashion in as well?

  15. This is so interesting for me! Due to allergies I had to change all my hygiene and beauty stuff during the last year. I won´t lie and say that this was an easy thing to do. It was not!

BUT now that I have taken the time to find the right things for me, I am so happy with the new stuff! It doesn´t just feel more healthy, it really is and you can see a much greater difference than I would have ever thought. Plus, I have to say it is a very good feeling to consume in a way that is not too damaging for the environment :)

  27. I'm not sure I could go completely green with everything, due to price and because of my loyalty to some products. I'd definitely be willing to change some things though...that mask looks very intriguing...

  30. Hi Anna if your interested in organic skin care products you should give the Tropic range a try.
Their products are all 100% organic.

My skin has been so bad after the birth of my second baby. I was introduced to the cleanser which comes with a bamboo cloth the toner and moisturiser by my best friend and I can honestly say my skin has improved so much.
The products smell so fresh and my skin feels soo good. They are really reasonably priced too. I never comment on blogs or anything but I thought I'd share what organic products iv been using because I love them so much. :)
    Take care. Sarah x

  32. Glad to see you are back into making videos - what is the status on your naked palette? I remember you used a lot a few years ago, did you finish some shadows by now?

  33. My best friend is using Green People Gentle Cleanser from the past few weeks. I can see the positive results. But I am still confused because I am using Lifecell skin cream since two years. And it really works and very affecting, so I don't want to switch to other products.

Please be nice...the world could use some positivity! :)
