Third Trimester Pregnancy Vlog

Here is my third and last pregnancy vlog! I am currently approaching the last leg of this journey and as much as I appreciate it & do love being pregnant, I'm ready for it to be over! Being that I got pregnant in March 2016, miscarried in May and then found out I was pregnant again in July this means that I feel like I've literally spent the last year pregnant! It's been a tough old time with lots of highs & lows but I think I'm ready to be done. Having said that I do still enjoy carrying babies and I'm not going to lie, I have been lucky enough to remain low-risk every pregnancy with very minimal symptoms. In other words, things could be a lot worse! But every woman who has experienced this knows that the last few weeks are the slowest, longest and probably the hardest! Here are a few of the symptoms I've been experiencing this trimester:

- bleeding gums
- heartburn (really bad!)
- leg cramps
- insomnia
- shortness of breath
- change in hair type

I go into more detail on each symptom in my vlog, and also show you the belly shot at the end as well as talk about weight gain, stretch marks and all the fun stuff that goes along with pregnancy! :) Hope you enjoy! If you have any questions, just leave them down below and I will try to answer them!

  2. I really admire the fact that you put yourself and your family out into the world like this with the blog posts and vlogs. My question is: What pushes you to do this everyday with all the hardships that you have gone through?
This blog and your YouTube channels have helped me through so much and it would mean so much for what you think.

  4. Heartburn is the one symptom that I remember vividly from my 2 pregnancies because it's so annoying and uncomfortable. I remember I used to sleep with two or three pillows to stop stomach acids from going the wrong way.

  6. Hi Anna!

I also wrote this on your Youtube channel, but I want to post it here too...

For many people actually standing up and stretching the muscle helps with the crumps...it definitely helps me :) You just have to swallow the pain at the moment of standing up on the leg and then it goes away much faster...

And also about your hair...I have some experience with bad hair while travelling to different cities and I discovered that the problem was actually with the water there...So try wait and wash it a few times again at home where your hair is used to the water and see if that helps :)

  7. I had the oily hair situation when I was pregnant with my son! I had it early on, probably towards the start to middle of my second trimester. I had to stop using conditioner for a while but it went away after about 2-3 weeks and never reoccurred. I think it was just hormones because it never came back and so far I'm 17 weeks into my second pregnancy and it hasn't happened again. It was such an odd symptom and none of my friends had ever had it happen to them.

  10. Try a clarifying shampoo Anna! The greasy feel is due to the buildup of silicone and other products found in shampoo. I've experienced it before too, ive tried loads of ways getting rid of it - dishwashing liquid and even Listerine! But clarifying shampoo works best. Its good to use a clarifying shampoo once in awhile.

  11. Hi Anna

You should use Gaviscon instead of Rennies. It lasts longer as it suppresses the stomach acid not just the heartburn symptoms. It's safe to use during pregnancy but you can check with the pharmacist.

    It works a treat.
