Wearable Everyday Makeup

I thought I'd show you guys how to do my basic everyday wearable makeup routine in pictures!

.

First start out with a bare face...apply your favourite moisturiser and a great lip balm to start.  I use Nivea Visage Oil-Free Moisturising Fluid which is perfect for oily skin like mine and Made From Earth Vanilla Lip Balm with Vitamin E

Apply some concealer under your eyes, on your eyelids as a base for your eyeshadow, and on any red spots or blemishes you may have.  I usually apply this around my nose, on my chin and a little on my forehead.  I use Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer in 01 Nude Beige.

To achieve an even, natural complexion apply a mineral foundation like Bare Minerals (I use it in Medium) with a large face brush.

Using a smaller brush, contour your cheekbones, temples and jawbone with a bronzer of your choice.  I use Bare Minerals Warmth.

To achieve a fresh glow, apply a peach blush with a hint of shimmer like MAC's Earth to Earth to your cheeks, sweeping it upwards to where you just applied the bronzer.

Using a flat eyeshadow brush, apply a neutral shimmer eyeshadow to your lids to brighten your eyes and make you look more "awake"!  I am using Kiko's Highly Pigmented e/s in #80, a champagne colour.

Next, using an angled brush apply a bronze shadow to your crease, the outer corners and on the outer part of your lower lashline.  I use MAC's Mulch.  Make sure the angled brush is placed with the longest side facing outwards to achieve that defined "v" shape.

To highlight, using a fluffy brush apply a vanilla shadow like Bourjois Blanc Diaphane to the browbone and blend that into the other shadows you just applied.

Using a black or brown eyeliner pencil, line the lower and upper waterline.  Don't line the upper lashline as this will make the look too intense for daytime.  I'm using Impala's Waterproof Eyeliner in black.

To complete the eye look, apply two coats of your favourite mascara to your top lashes, and one to the lower lashes.  I like CoverGirl's Lashblast for a volumised and lengthened look.

Line your lips using a nude pink lipliner.  I'm using Davis accent lip pencil in neutral pink.

Finish it all off with a shimmery pink lip colour like Rimmel's Lipstick in Nude Pink.

And there you have it, a wearable everyday look for the office/school/college!  This is the look I've been wearing almost everyday this winter, and I love it!  I hope you do too :)

Stay Stylish!
