May Glossybox (2 Months Late...Oops!)

Let me start by apologising for how late this post is...I know, it's July and I'm just now opening my May Glossybox.  But I received mine around the same week we left for Italy and then the June box arrived only about a week later so I've been guiltily eyeing the two unopened Glossyboxes all the while procrastinating about what to do.  I was going to skip May completely and just show you guys June but I really wanted to share my thoughts on the contents of April's box so here we are.  I hope you don't mind, I'm sure you've all seen this on other blogs a hundred times!

Before jumping in, here is my little review on the items I received with my Natural Box (April):

Caudalie Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum
I absolutely loved this.  I used it all month long, in fact I just ran out of it this morning.  It's really hydrating and light-weight so it doesn't feel like you're putting anything too thick onto your skin even though you're adding moisture.  It also smells divine, which was quite lovely! :)  I used it every morning & evening before moisturising.

Inika Cosmetics Certified Organic Eyeliner
I have to be honest and let you guys know that I never even touched this.  Not once did I apply it!  I'm just too stuck in my ways when it comes to make-up I guess ;)

Monu Professional Skincare Enriched Body Cream
I really loved the smell of this and the product was good and very moisturising.  However I was disappointed with the packaging.  Although I understand it's just a sample, I took it with me to Sorrento thinking it would work wonderfully given the size but I got about 2 uses out of it and then the product just stopped coming out!  No matter how hard I banged, hit or squeezed it would not budge :(  What a waste!

Figs & Rouge Lip Balm
Absolutely loved this balm, I took it with me to Italy as well and the smell is just so addictive!  The only problem was that it melted one day at the beach and then because of the lack of chemicals in it (I'm guessing!) it kind of congealed and went all weird looking and bubbly...ha ha ha :)  It still works the same though!

Philip B Drop Dead Straightening Balm
Erm...yeah I didn't use this one either, I don't think I wore my hair straight once over the last month!  Sorry guys :/

Onto May!  This month was when Glossybox celebrated their 1st birthday so we were all sent a special anniversary box which was so cute!  The wrapping paper and ribbon were really adorable plus they even included a pink balloon and compact mirror as little extra gifts.  Needless to say, with 6 dogs running around I didn't blow up the balloon...I thought that might be a bit too chaotic, ha ha ha!

Noble Isle Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel
My first impression of this product is that it smells very pretty & summery, plus I love the packaging so I will definitely pack it next time I travel!

Murad Clarifying Mask
I've been sent some Murad skincare from Glossybox before and they've always worked well so I'm excited to use this!  It's a clay-based formula designed for oily skin which is perfect for my t-zone!

Eldora False Eyelashes
These actually look very pretty and natural which I'm happy about as false lashes tend to look ridiculous on me if they're too bold.  But I love how feathered and light these appear.  Now I just need to find the perfect occasion to wear them! ;)

Lolita Lempicka L'Eau en Blanc & Eau de Parfum
On first glance I was ready to be wowed by either of these...the bottles look amazing (particularly the pink one!) and I was excited to try out a new fragrance.  However when I sprayed both I found I didn't like either :(  The pink is far too alcohol-y and the purple smells like aftershave to me.  Such a pity!

Uniqone All in one hair treatment
I am probably the most excited about this!  It seems absolutely perfect for my hair type (dry/prone to damage) and claims to do it all: repair damage and dryness, control frizz, protect from heat, give silkiness, protect hair colour from UV rays, detangle, prevent split ends and add volume.  Phew!  Let's hope it lives up to all of these things :)

Overall I'm very happy with the May Glossybox and am looking forward to trying all of these new products out!  I promise my June box blog post won't be so late next time ;)

If you'd like to sign up to Glossybox you can do so for £12.95 a month here.  They do ship to Ireland and now also to the US.  If you do subscribe to Glossybox and you also received this box, let me know what your thoughts are!  As always, I would love to hear from you guys :)
