Presents from Polina!

Yesterday I got some lovely gifts from my friend Polina, who lives in Bulgaria!  She sent me a CoverGirl LashBlast mascara which I've been dying to try for the longest time.  I've heard such great things about it and CoverGirl is a brand that isn't sold here in Ireland or the UK so I've never tried it.  I thought the wand looked pretty cool with the orange spikes!  She also sent me a beautiful scarf and a tinted lipbalm.  Above are the swatches taken without and with flash.

Let me know what you think!  Have you guys tried LashBlast?  What are your thoughts?

Stay Stylish!
xoxo

p.s. The lipbalm came with a product I got and I thought you might like the pink shade, hope you like it!

  2. Thats really lovely! This products took my eye from the very 1st moment! I had a feeling that Polina is an East Block girl :) The best surprise was that she is from my county Bulgaria! ;)
I'm a big fan of Anna and I adore her style and her personal character also. I did't know she has so much fans from Bulgaria! :)_Perfect!

  3. While Cover Girl is considered to have some of the best products in the drug store in America, I choose not to use any cosmetics made by companies that test on animals. Cover Girls does (or, rather, their parent company Proctor and Gamble does) so I do not purchase from their line.

  4. Hey Anna!

Isn't CoverGirl called Maxfactor in Europe? I have used this mascara for long time, in Europe it's called Maxfactor False Lashes or something.

  5. Yeah to anonymous above. The Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara is the same as Covergirl Lashblast. I have only tried the Covergirl but it's a great mascara, doesn't clump and really separates the lashes softly.

  6. Anna-

I have tried CoverGirl LashBlast and I personally do not like it. After it dries on my lashes it feels very stiff and uncomfortable like I have strong hold hair gel on my lashes. I much prefer L'oreal Voluminous mascara, I feel like it works better too.

  7. the lash blast mascara works great! i have been using it since it came out (about 2 years now) and i love it! it does a great job separating the lashes and curls them as well. it doesnt look over-dramatic. by far my favorite mascara ever!
