I was recently fortunate enough to be asked by RTÉ (one of the main TV stations in Ireland) to come and film a What I'm Wearing segment for their TV show Two Tube. It was shot against a green screen as well as a white box, and it was so much fun to do! The whole crew were super friendly and nice to me, they helped to make me feel relaxed and not so nervous although it wasn't live so that made it a lot less scary! At the end it just felt like shooting one of my YouTube videos, but with a much bigger camera and professional set-up!
I was showcasing was the denim trend -- I chose cropped denim jackets and also how to style double denim which I get lots of questions about! You can see my outfit in these pictures and you'll have to wait for the when the show airs for me to go through all the details! I also got to talk about one of my "Fashion Faux Pas" outfits which was funny because I picked an all-pink ensemble complete with a fabulously orange fake tan, hahaha!
One of the highlights of the day was that we also got to meet fellow Irish YouTuber Stephen Byrne from 3sixty5days. He was really lovely and it was so nice to talk to somebody with the same "strange job" as us! Stephen actually recommended me for this segment so I am very grateful to him for that! You can check him out on his main channel here and he is also starting daily vlogs on his side channel, 3sixty5says.
I don't know the definite date of when my little TV appearance will be airing yet but it will be available online as well for any international viewers so I will let you guys know when I get the link. If you live in Ireland, you can check out Two Tube on RTÉ 2 weekdays 5:30pm - 7pm.
