Mommy Monday: 38 Weeks Pregnant with Baby #2!

17 March 2014

How far along?  38 weeks
Total weight gain/measurements: 29lbs! Lost a pound this week, putting me at 144lbs.
Maternity clothes: I'm wearing all maternity items (dress & tights). It's the exact same outfit from last week's Style Saturday post
Stretch marks: Still no new ones.
Sleep: I wake up sooo many times in the night - it's getting so uncomfortable :( However once I have my nap during the day I'm usually fine.
Best moment this week: I got to see my older brother whom I hadn't seen since last January (Emilia was only 3 months!).
Miss anything? Not being pregnant!
Movement: Tons - he is getting so big and his movements can sometimes be quite painful, depending on what position he's in! I might get a punch from an elbow or foot which is not so pleasant!
Food cravings: I love the combination of sweet & savoury right of my favourite newfound snacks are the Dairy Milk Ritz bars - it's basically a chocolate bar with pieces of Ritz cracker in there...sooo good!
Anything making you queasy or sick? No.
Gender: Boy
Labour signs: Getting a ton of lightening crotch & pressure! Not as many Braxton Hicks this week. Also, I think I have dropped a bit (I don't know, I could be's hard for me to tell but other people have said so!).
Symptoms: Aside from the ones I just mentioned above: back-ache (this has just gotten quite bad due to carrying Emilia/picking her up!), feeling lots of pressure down there, I do get very tired but also get bursts of energy throughout the day when I tend to start nesting! Heartburn is still a big one and constipation/haemorrhoids :(
Belly button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: It's probably moody right now...sorry Jonathan!!
Looking forward to: Meeting this baby boy! And also getting my membrane sweep next week. Hopefully that will speed things up if nothing's happened already!
