I saved this picture on my phone while I was in my parents' house recently because I wanted to share it as a throwback closer to Christmas! This was little me (about 6 years old I think) baking plaetzchen (what we always called Christmas cookies) with my mom. I can't wait to continue this tradition with Emilia & Eduardo - it's probably one of my fondest Christmas memories!
P.S. Sorry this post is ridiculously late...I promise tomorrow I'll be a better blogger!

Cute picture! I think 'Plätzchen' is just German for 'cookies' actually. But Germans do love their cookies at Christmas ^^
