Christmas Gift Guide for Him!

Here is my men's gift guide for Christmas 2016! In my opinion men (and boys) are the toughest people to buy for. I've always struggled to find the perfect present for my dad and now I have the same problem with my husband. I've even started to discover that it's just as difficult with a son! Why are men so impossible to buy for?! Anyway here are my picks for Jonathan this Christmas, bearing in mind the type of guy he is because obviously there are many different types out there who have various interests. I hope some of you find this helpful as I know I could have done with a men's gift guide many times in my life!

  1. I struggle every year about what to get my husband and dad. In the lead up to Christmas I always get told from both of them 'there's nothing I need' or 'don't waste money on yourself' or my dad's favourite 'buy something nice for yourself instead. That will make me happy' as if i'm going to do that so they have nothing to open. This year my mum has told me to buy him a bar of chocolate!!! It his birthday 3 days before which makes it even harder. He would absolutely love the cashmere hoody but sorry dad even though i'm 37 my maximum is £30 so you won't be getting that! My husband has a couple of bits and pieces which he's lucky to have. I've got 3 kids too a girl and 2 boys so Christmas is so stressful especially as all 3 have asked for new PC's, new phones, Google firesticks as well as xbox one games and my daughter who is 16 in June as begged for some nice make up and trendy clothes. I feel like I am sinking. I am disabled so I get ESA and pip and my husband was told to give up his job (plumber & gas engineer) to become my carer. He's gone from earning a good amount to being paid £60 to look after me. It's not our choice to be on benefits and I so wish we could work. I don't think the government realise how difficult it is to live on such a tiny amount with 3 children especially at Christmas time.
Well done on another brilliant Vlog, it so nice watching you more. I think you made a good decision to stop uploading on the weekend and just having family time instead. It is so important as they grow up so fast and it's just as important for you and Jonathan to take time out and stay in your PJ's all day if you want to and not feel the need to dress and put make up on. The vlogs will make an incredible gift to the kids when they are older. I know I look back and think of certain things but can't fully remember them but they will be able to just watch it. It's brilliant. You and Jonathan have done an excellent job of raising Emilia and Eduardo and it will be the same for you new baby girl. You both have so much love for them and it comes across so strongly when you just mention them or even look at them.
Sorry to have written such a long reply. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas xxx

  8. Men are DEFINITELY harder to buy for - my dad and my brother are so picky, I usually end up getting them a gift card because they like to shop for themselves, haha. Love you Anna, thanks for the guide! :)
